Welcome to the Greater Moncton Area

For anyone considering a move to NB, Metro Moncton (City of Moncton, City of Dieppe, Town of Riverview) is a spot you seriously want to consider. With many opportunities to get into outdoor recreation, both summer and winter become fun. Enjoy two national parks within an hour’s drive, snow mobile and hiking trails galore, and dozens of golf course to be played on a day trip. And for the cycling enthusiast, all three communities boast many kilometers of interconnected trails tucked safely away from traffic.

Locals enjoy a great slate of wonderful restaurants. There are a wide variety of different cuisines, with more opening all the time. For food trucks to fine dining, there is always something new to try. With the ocean never far away, seafood is something extra special.

The Atlantic Ballet Company calls Moncton home, plus we have the Capitol Theatre which hosts dozens of top notch performances all year round.

Our Zoo has won national awards for small city zoos. Designed with the family in mind, they have a number of great programs for children of all ages.

Moncton was referred to as the “Hub of the Maritimes” during its railroad heyday. It still is, but mow it’s more for warehousing and trucking. From Moncton, you can reach most all of the remainder of the Maritime Province in under six hours by car.
